Another 5-star adventure.

Its a wonderful Victorian era Sherlock Holmes style story...complete with cloak and deerstalker hat for the Doctor, with the villain, Magnus Greel, providing a Phantom of the Opera-style character. The period costumes and sets are superior and the cast is magnificent...particularly Christopher Benjamin and Trevor Baxter as Jago and Litefoot. They would further portray their characters in a series of highly popular and successful audio dramas from Big Finish.

Look for regular DW composer Dudley Simpson as the conductor in Jago's theater.

Highly recommended.
