Gen Con Announces First 2013 Media Guest of Honor
Fifth Doctor from Doctor Who Classic Series to Attend

SEATTLE (April 16, 2013) - Gen Con LLC has announced that Peter Davison, best known as the Fifth Doctor of the famed Doctor Who Classic series, will attend Gen Con Indy 2013 as its first named Media Guest of Honor. Davison, a veteran of stage and screen, also has recently appeared alongside the 10th Doctor, David Tennant, in the television special Doctor Who: Time Crash.

Peter Davison is appearing at Gen Con Indy in partnership with Indianapolis’ own Who North America, Inc., a multi-year Gen Con exhibitor and Doctor Who retailer. As a Media Guest of Honor, Davison will take part in signings in Gen Con’s Autograph Area with official times to be announced prior to show. He also will take part in several Who North America, Inc. events, which will be announced in the coming weeks. More information regarding those events will be made available at www.whona.com.

In addition to his work as the Fifth Doctor, Davison has acted in more than a dozen television series, including the British series of Law & Order: UK, Miss Marple, Wuthering Heights, and the popular American 1980s series, Magnum PI. On stage, he has appeared in West End productions of Spamalot, Chicago, and Legally Blonde – The Musical. Davison also has performed in Shakespearean productions including the Taming of the Shrew, Hamlet, and a Midsummer Night’s Dream.

For those NOT attending GenCon, there WILL be an event at the warehouse as well as a Dinner on a different night and a panel discussion.

Details, including the price to attend these events, are TBA.

The Warehouse visit is on Thursday, August 15 from 7 pm to 9 pm. There will be a cover charge to enter the facility which will include one autograph of any item purchased within the facility. Items purchased from us prior to his visit can be autographed with presentation of a WhoNA receipt or packing list. He will also be selling some autographed photos on that day. Additional autographs may also be purchased if we are not too overwhelmed with people.

Reservations for the WhoNA Open House will be announced in the upcoming months.

Special WhoNA warehouse photograph - add $15
Additional autographs - add $10 on any item purchased from WhoNA valued at over $5. If you are bringing something already purchased from WhoNA for signature, please bring proof of receipt.

Friday, August 16, 2013 from 7 pm to 9 pm: Panel Discussion at Tilt Studio & Arcade
$20 cover charge to include:
1 WhoNA promo pack
1 hour Tilt Game card (also used as entry ticket for all Doctor Who screening at Tilt during Gen Con)

Saturday, August 17, 2013 from 7:pm to 9:30 pm: Intimate Dinner with the Guest at The Library Restaurant
$50 cover charge to include:
1 WhoNA promo pack
1 WhoNA special autographed photo

Please note the following about the Dinner:

1) the cost for the dinner is NOT included in the cover charge - you are responsible for the cost of the food and drinks. There is a bar downstairs for those who wish to ingest any alcohol during dinner.

2) there is a company that can provide transportation to and from the restaurant for a fee. A link will be put up shortly so you can book your early reservation.

We have received a few enquiries as to how many tickets are available for each event so here is the breakdown for all to know:

Warehouse visit - 150 tickets
Panel Discussion - 100 tickets
Dinner - 60 tickets (first 6 tickets is a seat on the Guest of Honor table)
