I used to work in a comic book shop. I know exactly what you're talking about. Neutral

Mine arrived today from another US retailer. Not overly excited by it. He does look good, though to me his clothing is a bit ill fitting. I collect Hot Toys and they're still #1 in my book for 12in dolls.

That was never going to change, though. At least not with the first release. Smile

Here's a few pics of my 12th Doctor

You can feel the quality in the figure. They way it moves. The articulation is neither loose nor tight, it's...confident.

Looks pretty darn awesome! Shame about the fit of the clothes, but maybe the expansion packs will improve on that?

An awesome figure that looks better in hand than in photos, that's no criticism of you Krynoid, he just isn't photogenic, roll on his previous incarnations.

I am in love with the figure. The paint job is HT quality (no need for a repaint on this... sorry Ski). The poses that the hands are in are PERFECT for 11, the clothes are awesomr (though they do require a bit of futzing). Out of the box he is a stellar figure. I had no missing accessories.

I love how high-end it feels. The box design is elegant. The packaging is nice for keeping it MIB. The body is nice and tight and easily posed. Stand great without the stand. BUT the stand itself doesn't seem very sturdy. That is the only negative thing I can think of with this figure. Bring on Amy, Ten and Four. This line has some seriously cool potential!!!

Now I need to make a 1:6 Police Box. :horror

9/10

:rock

Yay! He looks great. The clothes look great on yours, which made me think they might just take a little manual adjustment.

I just got mine, and it looks great! Now that there's a vacancy in the TARDIS, an old Avenger has applied for the job...

Got mine in and he does look incredible! Better than any picture taken of him. My daughter has just introduced him to his new companions. (Barbie's friends) and so far he's on display. My BIG fear is that they will come out with 10, then 4, and after that two or three more, then fizzle out before we get all 11 Doctors.

Ideally, for me after 10 and 4 are released, I would like to see, in this order.

9, 8, 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7.

And I would hope that they are in scale to the ACTORS who played them. If 2, 7 and 4 are all the same height on the shelf, it will be dissapointing!

Great review, Jonwes! I'm tempted to get him but I will most likely hold off and get the 4th Doctor. I'd love me some Pertwee, too.

If it weren't for finance then I'd get them all. It'd be great to get the full TARDIS team of the Doctor, Amy, Rory and River but I'd probably only be able to buy one a year!

WhoNA has only 2 left. Don't be left without this awesome figure. If you're on the fence about it just watch JonWes's review. That should give you the push you need.

It is amazing but I cannot spend that kind of cash right now on one item, I wish WhoNA did a layway on these higher priced items where we could pay a deposit and then pay off the item over 8 weeks.

It's a great price for the quality you get. When you figure I dropped $500.00 on the MFX 10th Doctor's sonic screwdriver, this is a lot cheaper!
