I started with David Tennant's final specials, and caught up. Much as I liked Eccleston, I guess being introduced with Tennant spoiled me and I was thinking, "Can't wait until we get to Tennant!"

And then in less than a half year after I'd seen my first episode, Tennant turned into Matt Smith. I've really enjoyed Matt Smith, and I guess I'd say he's my favorite, but that's probably because he's the first Doctor I got to enjoy NEW.

As for Classic Doctors, TROUGHTON.

Hands down, Christopher Eccleston for me. My fandom is all his fault. It started with him, really, as the spark that awakend my inner Whovian.

Eccleston - no need to even think about it!

Tennent was good but no patch on No9.

Matt (Lance Percival lookalike) Smith is dreadful. They could ahave made a better choice for the part. They had so much talent to choose from!

David Tennant, but I'm partial to him for the emotion he brought to his character as well as the fact that I started Doctor Who with the second series because that was all the library had at the time.

Matt has four votes, and Matty and I are half of those.

MATT SMITH NEEDS LOVE.

David Tennant.

Now if we had a poll to see who had the worst costume from the new series I wonder who would win.

I'd have to go with Matt on that one. Chris was practical and subdued, Tennant's suits were sharp.

I'd probably like Matt better if the stories were decent but they are mostly mediocre for the most part. David still rules.

Problem with Tennent and Smith is they are, as Batmanmarch said, "too chummy" and everyone's trying to get in bed with him/them.

Eccleston's alienesque style was what I liked, stupid apes, and "All you humans do is wake up, go to work, come home, eat chips and go to bed", plus he had no problems letting a baddie die if need be, like with Cassandra (well, we thought she died the first time), he just stood there, coldly and let her shriek and go splat.

Tennent's, "I'm sorry, I'm so, so sorry!", and Smith's "(insert clothing item here) are cool" got old, not to mention annoying, really, really fast.

Apart from Eccleston's occasional 'fantastic', he did not have some long over used catch phrase or line like the two successors have.

Eccleston's outfits suited his Doctor perfectly as did Tennant's. I loved the suits. Stylish, handsome, and almost all-era fitting. Matt Smith just... doesn't. Ever.

That said, to me, best dressed and favourite Doctor will always be 8.

I always thought number three was best dressed. And doing kung-fu in it.
