Those clips look AMAZING!!! The original film seems to have been kept in very good condition. It doesn't look like we'll have to wait very long for a DVD release.

I'm driving my family nuts running around the house like a lunatic jumping for joy! To me this is the best Who news since 2004 when they announced the return of the show. I still can't believe it. Underwater Menace isn't one of my favourite episodes, but I don't care. I'll take it.

Wonderful News -

This is a priceless addition to the Classic Who archive and the legacy of the 1st and 2nd Doctor.

This means that more finds are possible!

Wowsers! I had pretty much resigned myself to the fact that there wouldn't be any more episodes found again. What a really nice Christmas present indeed.

I still think Tenth Planet 4 is out there, but, outside of that, I had no idea!

I love the last line of the Radio Times article - a quote from Ralph Montagu, who helped find these episodes - "One or two other leads are being pursued at the moment. More than that Iím not saying!".

I was thinking it is a good thing that the episodes found were not the ones that they just animated! That would be awkward!

Been thinking that for a year that began with such sad news for Classic Who fans with the loss of two beloved actors, this news makes 2011 a bit better of a year. But I still miss them, but now i can cheer again! Let us all hope more will be found as the publicity of 2013 approaches and film collectors everywhere open their cans!!

It's great that the missing episodes are still found after so long and they appear in good condition based on the clips. It's such a shame that so many are still missing from Troughton's era. At least the audios of the stories exist but seeing the videos of them are so much better.

Maybe, just maybe, the rest of the missing episodes are still out there.

I want more Troughton.

I hear you on that one. I like to believe that out there, somewhere, "The Daleks Master Plan" and "Marco Polo" among others are locked away in some safe place, forgotten about, intact, waiting to be found.

You never know.

Everybody re-check your closets, basements, attics, and garages. And when you go to holiday gatherings - check there, too! Don't forget your relatives! You never know what grandad has buried underneath old newspapers...

I am surprised this collector was unaware that there were so many missing episodes. More publicity could result in these finds.
