| Can anyone tell me about the Mini RC Dalek Battle Pack? In particular, is it just a smaller version of the big RC Daleks? Or do they say different things?
I have a small army of Cybermen and a larger army of Daleks (many sizes) already, but if this pack is different enough I'll want it too.
Thank you! |

| I recently bought this from Forbidden Planet New York City and the quality control is unreliable. The one I bought had a gold Dalek that had wheels with uneven speeds and the other one they had on hand had a gold Dalek that didn't work at all. I ended up taking store credit.
The Daleks only have two (maybe three) lines that they both say. One occurs at random and when they turn on, and another when they're hit by another Dalek.
It's called the battle pack because two people can take the Daleks and try to exterminate each other.
The controls are the same as the 12" variants except there are no buttons for speech but a firing button at the middle.
Edit: Reading around the web, it seems the gold Daleks are duds... |

| I bought another one of these from ToyRocket and both of them don't work! All they do is say "Seek, locate, destroy". I noticed WhoNA has over a hundred of these. I'd advise to test them out before shipping them because this is three out of three that they don't work properly! |

| We would have to charge you a $75 testing fee to take off all the little twisty wires. |

| Plus installing the batteries too. But yes, with my difficulties and reading around the web, these things are duds. |

| I hate to bump an old topic, but I've recently considered buying this set. Well, the one with the Cyberman figure. I saw a video review of an RC Dalek (a single pack?), and the reviewer showed a reset button on the base. Do all the mini RC Daleks have this reset button?
Also, have the quality issues been fixed since a year and a half ago? |

| No, these are no longer manufactured. The ones we have are old stock.
No reset button. |

| Just picked up one of these from WHONA for my Autistic son's Birthday. He loves it (of course) and everything works fine except one of the Daleks Sensor Globes (Lights on the top) do not light up. My son won't part with it and insists it doesn't bother him. LOL. Also picked up the RC Davros which refused to talk for about the first two hours we had it, then decided it would start talking. However, at the current prices, even if the RC function did not work, they are still about the upper price for a 5' figure and we HAD to have Davros didn't we! |
