We probably won't see him again, right? He's a great actor. It's a shame we didn't get a decent script for him. Hopefully, they will take a different approach when writing for the next master.

As far as I'm aware, John Simm has said he'd be willing to come back to film a regeneration sequence. So maybe he'll get a proper send off.
