Wow, that's a really cool photo, how'd you take it ?

Thanks Smile I very carefully had the Genesis Ark toy (with Dalek positioned inside so it looked as if the Ark was just opening and that was the first Dalek to race out to freedom). It was all balanced on a small plastic box on top of the backgroud (printed on A3 card) to lift it off the background and give some depth. The blurred effect was added later...I'm not a massive fan of post processing effects but I wanted to give the impression the GA was moving at great speed so succombed to special effects.

Wow, that picture is absolutely amazing! I like how you generally don't do post-editing, but it really does look amazing!

We need to see more Dalek pics, from you, Rooners! I'm officially in love with them... It'd be awesome to see the Daleks clubbing or something!

Thanks! Smile

I added this to my Flickr page yesterday along with the Spider-Man picture....I wasn't going to add it the forum...but then I thought....what the heck....so here it is...

I added an Orton-esque blur effect to create a "Comic Book" look

The Incredible Hulk - Dr Bruce Banner wasn't too happy when a big blue box materialised on his foot.

That would be awesome, especially IF there ever was a Death's Head figure!

I going to start looking for a Spidey w/ suction cups. That pic was FANTASTIC!

cheers

Thank you very much guys Smile

Here's my latest "crossover" pic. This not my best photograph by far but I've been desperate to do a Star Trek/Doctor Who shot...the idea of the TARDIS materialising on the bridge of the USS Enterprise fills me with Geek joy....so when I was able to use a backdrop of the famous Enterprise bridge and Kirks chair so they were visible through the TARDIS door, I went for it....as I say, not the best photographic wise, but here it is anyway....

Star Trek - Capt Kirk was quick to check out the strange box that had materialised on his bridge.

Nice photo. I can totally understand being filled with geek joy. I'll never forget the thrill I received when I was reading Star Trek: My Enemy, My Ally years ago. There's one scene where the Enterprise crew is watching DW and the description of the actor that's given is unmistakably Tom Baker. So much fun.

I'm on a roll this weekend...here's some more...

]
A Coat of Many Colours - Finally, people who appreciated the Doctor's fashion sense

I had just as much fun modifying the Joseph poster to read the Doctor's alias, J. Smith as I did shooting the photo.

Stranded - If there was ever a time the Doctor needed a TARDIS remote control, it was now..
