WW - I find so many great lighting gadgets in my local Poundland... (check out http://www.flickr.com/photos/rooners/5294830270/ this is a non DW pic, which is why I didnt post the acual image). Maybe your local Dollar store maybe the place you look on your side of the pond.

This is another re-working of a shot I took last year that never made it to Flickr...until now...although I'm not sure I'll keep it.

The Decision - The Time Lords...or time itself?

I'm glad you've kept it, great work here! Was there post work done or did you use filters?

Thank you - I have only have point and shoot camera so if I need/want a specific effect I have to rely on post processing.

This shot is a re-take of the very first shot I took - I still have the original but it was taken on my camera phone and is extremely low quality...its the photo that got me hooked on this hobby Smile

Emergency Landing - The Doctor struggles to control the 'old girl'...no doubt she's taking him where he needs to be.

Awesome photo! Really cool! Any chances of seeing the original as a comparison? Very Happy

Thank you! Here is the original..also featuring the 5th Doctor...who was dropped on the re-take - this is small due to the poor resolution.

Pretty cool and a nice resemblance from the old to new. Smile

Thanks!!

For this shot, I added a Cross Process and Thermal effect in an attempt to create a comic book/annual feel...not sure if it works, but here you are anyway Smile

Great Warrior - On Earth, "Doctor" has come to mean Wise man and Healer...on some worlds it means Warrior.

That is a cool shot Rooner. That would make a great desktop wallpaper. You care if I use it as such? I really do dig this shot.

The next in the Incarnation portrait series.....I always thought the Doctor's ninth incarnation was born into war and fire so I used a flame print for the brackdrop. I then added a slight red/orange tint as well as a zoom effect to try and capture that moment.

The Doctor's Ninth Incarnation

Only two more to go (Four and Eight)...you can see the rest of the series here... http://www.flickr.com/photos/rooners/sets/72157625899218552/detail/

As my Doctor’s Incarnations series is almost completed, I have decided to start a new portrait series featuring the best loved monsters. Here’s the first...hope you like it. A 'Gritty' effect was applied with B&W to try a recreate a 60's TV feel. I think I may have overdone it, ending up with a 50's feel...but I quite like it Smile

Hey this one really harkens back to the feel of a SciFi/Horror B-Movies from the 50's. I don't know if that was the look you were going for, but it is the vibe I am getting. I like what you did making it with harsh B&W tones and has just that hint of campiness and dread at the same time. The choice of making the title name in monster green really sets it all in order. You can almost here the announcer's voice saying "THEY CAME FROM OUTER SPACE..." Excellent work as always Rooners. Very Happy

These last two are great! (Actually, they're all great, I just really like the last two) It's hard to believe they're toys. I'm really looking forward to more from this series.

Thanks!!

Something a little different from me...and something that arguably doesn’t belong in this thread...but I just wanted to show off one of the new Sonic Screwdrivers that Character Options have produced – at first I thought “What a naff idea” but on closer inspection, they have put a lot of thought into the two new variations. The other more ‘steam punk’ design is just as wonderful.

The Last Doctor - The Doctor adopts more of a dark sombre style in his last incarnation.

Clearly (in my mind), the Doctor has a more sombre fashion sense when he reaches his final incarnation 
