I’ve always been fascinated with the Doctor’s off-screen/untold adventures during his 8th and 9th incarnations, especially the events that lead to his regeneration. I think its widely believed by fans that the Doctor fought in the Last Great Time War whilst in his 8th incarnation and as a result experienced some kind of injury (perhaps during the destruction of Gallifrey) which led to a regeneration….which would have resulted in a very melancholic, angry and lonely Doctor.

This image and the accompanying words are how I imagine the Doctor's frame of mind to have been in as he tried to adjust to a life as the last time lord (or so he thought). Of course, we all know that by the end of this incarnation, the Doctor had just about emerged from the angry fog of his survivor's guilt, largely thanks to his relationship with Rose Tyler. Could we say that little Rose Tyler saved the Doctor from himself….? That’s what I like to think….hope you enjoy my image and words…

I saved everything, every universe, every living being,
I even saved time itself but I couldn't save my world.
I have lost everything, everything I know, everything I am.
I saved every one of you but who will save me!?

Seconds later, Homer gave the Supreme Dalek a doughnut, and 5 minutes later, they were both heading off for a drink at Moe's.

This is not a great shot but I really like the idea that after Spock's brief encounter with the Doctor on the bridge of the USS Enterprise, (see that encounter here), he never stopped searching for the fascinating time traveller.

Spock greets the Timelord as he continues his search for the one known as The Doctor.

seeing as how that's the "real" spock, i approve

this post brought to you by a fan of the original series, not the j.j. abrams mass market appeal version(aka watered down, not political, racial, or religous thinking)

Just incase some of you think you're experiencing deja vu when looking at this set up and reading the description...I originally posted an earlier attempt in May but never liked it...its already been removed from this thread, never to been seen again Smile

Master Stand-off - Can the Doctor contain the Master's atron energy with his trusty sonic.

The Master's atron energy beam created by shining a LED light on concaved piece of silver metallic card (held behind the camera) which reflected back onto another sheet of silver metallic card I used for the background. I then used a little post processing to clone the light and extend it down onto the hand of the Master figure

Wow! Absolutely stunning! You've definitely been prompting me to play around with filters and other fixtures of light. This just takes the cake though!

But don't tell all your secrets though! I like the mystery! Very Happy

Clockwork Droid Stand-off - Can the Doctor disable the Droids clockworks with his trusty sonic?

Possessed Ood Stand-off - Can the Doctor block the Ood's psychic possession with his trusty sonic?

Davros Returns - Will the Doctor ever defeat the creator of the Daleks?

Loving that Davros picture! Can never take Davros seriously now, I'll remember this picture and think "Aww, who's a little cutie pie!" Laughing. Then he'll zap me with his magical finger!

Very Kind!!

These are my last Time Squad shots...I think I've done them to death (and have now featured every TS figure in my Time Squad Adventures series) ...plus I'm looking forward to doing some 5inch figure scenes again...anyway until then, I hope you like these...

Scarecrow - In a far off English moonlit field, the Scarerow awaits his revenge for loss of his family
NOTE: This is no regular Scarecrow soldier...this is the Family of Blood's Son of Mine after being suspended in time by the Doctor.

Sycorax - In a far off alien sunlit desert, the Sycorax awaits his revenge for the loss of his tribe

Doomsday Stand-off - The Cybermen & Daleks prepare to go head to head-will the Doctor prevent Doomsday.

THANKS!!

Heres one for fun...

Dalek Rhapsody

I see a silhouetto of the Doctor
Skaro-mouch, Skaro-mouch, will you fight the Timewar
Eyestalk and Gunstick, very, very frightening
(Gallifrey) Gallifrey (Gallifrey) Gallifrey, Gallifrey is no more
EX-TERM-IN-ATE-ATE-ATE-ATE-ATE!

I'm not quite sure why, but it suddenly struck me that the four members of the Cult of Skaro would make a great visual parody of the famous Queen video, Bohemian Rhapsody. I then came up with the above re-working of the operatic section of the song.
