So what has every body dressed up as from our favorite series?

I've gone to small bits like parties as the Doctor, But for halloween have dressed up as the auton wheelie bin, The dalek sec hybrid, and a Cardboard box robot (in honour of all the cheesy home made costumes of the seventies) that had been drawn on with marker to look like the K1 giant robot. I'm not sure what I'm going to Comic Con next year as Jamie, Harry, Benton are all some of my first choices.

I have yet to do ANY Doctor Who costumes for Halloween! I'll rectify the situation just as soon as I can talk my wife into going as #4 and Romana II.

This year we went as Logan and Jessica from Logan's Run.

I've thought about doing a Doctor costume, but I doubt anyone who know who I was on Halloween. At a con maybe.

I went to a convention as Romana I years ago. Don't have the colouring for Romana II.

Have plans for Leela, but, after recently having 2 kids, I have a bit of work to do first.

Movie Jessica. Of course, my wife did a better job of remaining covered up than Movie Jessica did, but that doesn't take much, really. Smile

I always liked the sandman uniforms, and the guns. Would like to see a proper adaption of the story one day. All three novels as maybe a three year series on tv. Although some elements would have to be toned down.

I have to admit that I've never read the "other two" novels. I know, I know...nerd license revoked. Smile

The Sandman guns were SO cool. I almost bought a resin replica for my costume, but I then decided to build one from scratch. There are some folks who've built actual working models (flame jets!), but mine was just cosmetic. I think I'll still end up buying the resin replica, but I'm glad I built one for Halloween...there's just something cool about being able to say that your costume is entirely homemade.

I know, I know...it's not perfectly screen accurate. Sue me. Smile

I have the first one. Along with the series on DVD and the Marvel comic, which ran for six issues and continued after the movie adaption... even had Thanos in an issue.

I've got the first book, though it's the edition that was released to tie in with the film (same book, but the movie poster in place of the original cover). I also have the whole TV series on my hard drive; at one time you could purchase it on download from Amazon. I would still buy an actual, physical DVD set if they'd just release one, though!

I can out-geek that - I had the soundtrack CDs for both the movie and the TV series! They really need to get the series on DVD though - and hopefully with as informative a liner notes booklet (or DVD extra features) as the soundtrack's booklet.

Now if someone built their own "hover car", that'd be hardcore.

I'm kinda glad that Bryan Singer's proposed movie remake has been shelved; I know that the original is very, very dated, but not every bloody SF success story needs to be "reimagined". We've gotten lucky with Doctor Who and Battlestar Galactica, and maybe we're going to be lucky with the new "V", but I'm tiring a bit of the remakes.

I don't know man, V was bad in my opinion.... I worshipped the original series even the piss poor weekly series but I loved it all this new series is weak in my mind.

As for the sound tracks, I'd kill for those, I collect scores and those two I can say I am missing with aboslute assurance.
