| I love the little references to other well-known BBC shows that make it into the scripts. Two that come to mind:
Daleks in Manhatten - the Doctor pops out of the elevator and quips "Third floor, perfumery!" This seems like a pretty clear reference to "Are You Being Served?"
Voyage of the Damned - Mr. Copper describes how he's going to retire and buy a house with a garden. The actor playing the part (Clive Swift) is best known for his role as Richard Bucket in "Keeping Up Appearances" where he plays a retired man, who owns a nice home and spends much of his time in his garden avoiding his wife.
I'm sure there are plenty more, but those are the two shows most Americans are familiar with. |

| Alan Partridge makes numerous DR.WHO references in all 3 of his series. In fact, while he was clinically "fed up" for a Year, he "bought the rights to DR.WHO's mechanical dog, K-9".
My Avatar is Alan Partridge in what could have been a pivotal role: "Captain Alan Partridge of the USS CINNAMONS". |

| | Oh yeah, "CORONATION STREET" has had countless DR.WHO mentions. Especially after the new series started. |

| I can think of: Are You Being Served, My Hero, and Vicar of Dibley having Dr Who references, and of course, visual references in VoD. _________________ http://reverend-amagon-blog.tripod.com/doctorwho www.myspace.com/amagon http://groups.google.com/group/Guardians_of_Gallifrey |

| In Excalibur/X-Men, the Wierd Happenings Organization (WHO) was akin to UNIT an run by people with the same surname as Brigadier Stuart. Satellite 5 is a rip-off of the Mojoverse from X-Men. |
