| I bought one of this because I thought it was cool. Eventually I want to get some extras to repaint so they look like Daleks from various eras of Doctor Who.
I noticed that underneath the base are a few screws. That got me thinking. If it can easily be taken apart it could make a good base for a custom Davros figure. The upper part (the mutant on up) would have to be replaced but the bottom could be made to work.
I haven't tried to take the figure apart. I'll wait until I get a spare for that. No I don't have any ideas on what to do for actually making the Davros figure to ride around in the Daleks bottom but for now I'm thinking a Playmates Star Trek figure could be made to work since Davros is seated and on the thin side.
I just wanted to share my idea. If somebody tries this I'd really like to see pictures of the end result. |

| | what i want to do with mine is slice up the piece that comes off and make it accurate to the scene in the show, with it being 4 pieces and connected to the main body by wires etc. |

| Best source fig for Davros is the Playmates Toys Star Trek Talosian Keeper.
Bulbous head with small frail looking arms, torso/tunic is another deal entirely.
Playmates Worf is a good source too.

Where? How does one get to the Gallery? Am I simply overlooking it? |

| | If you can get a hold of a dremel tool you can easly make a delek sec figure with the reveal hatch. Remove all the screws you can and to seperate the bottom half of a dalek just let it soak in boiling water,( CAREFUL WITH THIS PART SAFTY 1ST ) . You can also use the dremel to cut the inside of the dalek out and use a good super glue afterwards. |
