| Now that I have this DT will probably retire from the show.
I had ordered a blue one before, not a perfect color match but still nice. They were out of the brown one and I really wanted one. But soon after they got the brown fabric back in and I was back in luck.
Anyway, I finally got the Brown suit with the Blue pinstripes today. I also got the over coat made out of the same (apparently) upholstery material as DT’s. HOWEVER, that needed some adjustments so I have sent it off to my tailor. The one in the pics below is my original over coat bought when I got the blue suit. I’ll post the new one when I get it back.
Like the last one it’s a really great suit. I wear the other one to work and get loads of compliments so I hope the same to happen for this. Now then to the pics:
the action pose.
the suit itself. (who can spot the photoshop work?)
Sadly the close up of the suit without the over coat was a bit white washed and when I realized it I was too hot to get all the gear back on and take another.
and here are the pics to my blue suit:
My best Tennat look... well maybe.
I love this coat. maybe more then the suit. The new coat will be thinner like DT's and darker in color.
There's always got to be an action pose, right?
Not my best close up, but hey it shows the jacket.
Stop looking at my Butt! no really the back of this jacket is too cool.
For those of you who are interested here's where I got them:

the bottom three pics of this coat are of my actualy coat. He took the pics before sending it to me as it was the first one made with the upholstery material. _________________ Brian A. Terranova www.kasterborous.com a Doctor Who Webzine |

| That's awesome.
I've been looking for a "close enough" mass-produced one for a while now with no luck.
How practical is it? Is it the type of thing you'd wear outside on a brisk evening, or hang up waiting for Holloween? |

| You can wear it everyday. it is a real tailor made suit. I wear them to work and them mix in with my other suits perfectly because they are suits.
And with the help the show gave us you can make them have some many looks.
Both the suits and the are overcoats real clothes, not costumes. So they are very practical. If you need a suit and have the extra money then this is well worth it.
You'll need to find a tailor to measure you based on some sheets they have and then they make it.
The tennant colors are more expensive then the tennant suit is. they offer his suit in standard colors but to get the brown one the fabric is more money so that makes the suit more money.
I say get one, I love it. _________________ Brian A. Terranova www.kasterborous.com a Doctor Who Webzine |

| Sorry I got to this so late, the overcoat there is a cashmere blend, my new one is supposed to be the same upholstery material used in the show. looks more screen accurate.
the suit is not shiny but it is newer then his. they wash his to make them look faded. I wear these to work so thought the used look might not work for me there.
I'm not sure i have pics of the new overcoat, but I'll check. _________________ Brian A. Terranova www.kasterborous.com a Doctor Who Webzine |

| That suit from Magnoli's is sweet. Unfortunately, spending that kind of money on a suit would definitely land me in the doghouse. I found a suit maker in Georgia who has more economical prices, but he is not taking on any new clients at this time. I also found the chinese clothiers at Ebay but I'm a little skeptical to order as they didn't want to send me a swatch of the material to preview.
Does anybody know of any other online sites that has or can make this suit in the brown with blue pinstripes?? |

| Magnoli doesn't even offer it in the brown with blue pin stripes anymore as he can't find the fabric. I was lucky to get one, when I originally asked he didn't have it then either. But was able to get a small amount later.
If I hear of anyone in the prop circles I'll spread the word here though. _________________ Brian A. Terranova www.kasterborous.com a Doctor Who Webzine |
