Dalek Mobile Phone Charm - Help!

Is there any trick to getting these to work? Just got mine this morning (very quick shipping--thanks!). It lit up once when I remove the battery insulator tab, but has been dead since, doing nothing when calls are made or received by my phone.

Any advice?

Cell phone charms that react to incoming rings only work on GSM networks. Not saying this is the issue, but you might want to try it on some friends phones that use a different carrier. (Probably not what you wanted to hear - Sorry!)

Didn't even know what GSM meant until I Googled it just now, and am still not 100% but I kinda get it.

How can I tell if I have a GSM network, other than look at my poor silent Dalek charm? :-(

Verizon.

I believe Verizon uses both GSM and CDMA. It may depend on the model phone you use. Sorry!
