| I personally don't have an issue with the occasional expletive. It's all what you choose do do with them.
Anyway, let's drop it and let this thread get back on topic. |

| His reference was a reference to my reference where I referenced the reference material of Monty Python. While many refer to this reference, the referral is merely made in reference toSergeant-Major: [walks on] Right now! Stop that! Silly. And a bit suspect, I think.
Announcer:And now for something completely different.

| Hello...new here, but this looked like a good place for a first post! Nice to meet you!
Name: Vicki. You know, it's very cool when I can go to a forum using my real name and have it be relevant to the fandom! Now, I'm just gonna have to go find and watch some of the relevant episodes, but I digress...
Location: Columbus, OH. Originally from Los Angeles, CA.
Interests: Singing, drawing, writing, costuming, really anything artsy like that, dogs, and various things which will be answered better in the questions below...
Influences & Heroes: Many...family, friends...public figures that will likely come up in the following...
Authors, Artists & Poets: Barry Manilow, The Bee Gees, The Beatles, Les Miserables, The Secret Garden, The Fix, Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar, Jane Eyre, The Scarlet Pimpernel, too many more musicals to mention, Sherlock Holmes, Laurie R. King's Mary Russell [Sherlock Holmes pastiche] series, Jeremy Brett, Philip Quast, Alan Rickman, William Michals, George Takei, Dennis De Young, Styx when DDY was still in it, and again, too many more musicians, bands, singers, performers to mention...this sampling will have to suffice!
Favourite Films: Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan, Drop Dead Fred, Twin Falls Idaho, Edward Scissorhands, Galaxy Quest, and many more...
Television: Aside from the obvious Doctor Who... Star Trek [all forms, with a distinct preference for Deep Space Nine, and a distinct less than preference for Voyager...but it's all Trek, and all good], Torchwood, Sherlock Holmes [starring Jeremy Brett], Quantum Leap, House, Fruits Basket anime, many anime series, Family Guy, South Park, many British comedy shows, including Monty Python, Coupling, etc...
Year became a Doctor Who fan: Sometime in the early 80s...Peter Davison and Tom Baker were the first eps I ever saw...then a very recent [within the last year] rediscovery with the new episodes!
Favourite Doctor: David Tennant, who has somehow quite handily surpassed them all! Before that, it was Peter Davison, then Tom Baker...
Favourite Companion: Donna Noble, without a doubt!
Favourite Episode: Ooh...that's gonna be hard, and no, I can't pick just one! Runaway Bride, and Midnight, Fires of Pompeii, Turn Left...might as well put down all of series 4 while we're at it...
There's also 42, Gridlock, The Christmas Invasion, Time Crash...and of course, whatever episode I've just watched...though I'm still too freaked out by The Stolen Earth and waiting for Journey's End!!! |
