| Okay, I know that's a random topic, but I got into a long spiel on another section here about alarm clocks, and now I gotta talk...
So, alarm clocks! Mine is a bit different from the usual. It's shaped like a one-eyed alien and is named Nobby. Instead of BEEP BEEP BEEP to wake you up, he says things! "Rise and shine! It's time for your afternoon nap.", "Get your fingers out of your ears!", etc. Oh, and you can wring his neck to make him stop.
You can switch on his voice-recognition mode and talk to him as well. You can ask him the time (which he will say, followed by a random phrase. One time I heard him say "Dry martini. Shaken, not stirred." XD)
You can also ask him how he's feeling, make a decision, or how you look, among other things. We once had a memorable exchange in front of my friend when he mixed up 'how do I look' with 'how are you feeling'.
Me: Nobby!
Nobby: That's me!
Me: How do I look?
Nobby: UGH...I'M GONNA BE SICK!!!
My friend thought it was hilarious of course, and I pouted.
ANYWAY. Because it was sold out at Sharper Image (where I was originally going to get him) I ordered one from London. And HE HAS A BRITISH ACCENT!  Coincidence??? Hmmmm...
Anyway, I just found out from Sharper Image's site that you can also ask him to sing to you! I never knew that...*turns Nobby on*
...
OHMYGOD he sings!!! SO. CUTE.
Wow, I can't believe I just wrote a huge post on an alarm clock...

| Interesting alarm clock.
Saki I love your avatar. It took me about 5 seconds to realize why the "Can I have a little more?". I went from Huh? to AAAAAHHHHH!
