I've been cleaning up my customs and taking some pictures so I thought I'd share.

Here's The 10th Doctor

Brown Suit, Full Articulation, End of Time head with scratches removed and hair fixed. Suit is much more brown than the picture shows. Exactly how I was hoping he'd be in the 11 Doctors Set, but since he wasn't I had to make my own. Big thanks to Wes Crayon for the articulation help!

Hi, I'm sure this has been asked before ... Anyway, I recently heard that Character Options uses Games Workshop citadel paint when they do the prototypes figures. Does anyone know the particular "formula" they use for the fleshtones? Which colors from Games workshop they mix? Or, has anyone happened upon a home-made formula they really think works well?

Of course it's probably different for different figures, I'm looking to touch up a few scrapes on some Doctors, mainly a 1st.

So I finally sliced off the top of my serious McCoy and gave him a hat. I think it looks OK, but I sort of messed up because the glue I used set REALLY fast, so I didn't get the hat on perfectly straight. I wrongly assumed I'd have more time to straighten it perfectly. In all honesty we're talking millimeters, but I know and can see the flaws! But it's OK, I don't want to try and tear off the hat and start over, I'm just gonna live with it as is, because from a distance I think it looks good.

For example, I could have used the Wave 1 card for the Fifth Doctor, it has a long coat and a little indent for the sonic screwdriver. But ...

Right, first off I apologise for constantly asking about the types of head attachments with figures. I just like to know in advance what comes with what so I can plan my customs accordingly.

How does the Human Sec's head attach to the neck? Does it come with a peg on the bottom of the head or a peg on the neck and a hole in the neck?

Thanks for any advice you can give me on this.

And on a side note, does anyone have any ideas for a Susan Custom? I'm thinking Helen from Primeval (second release), ...

I ask because I need to put a Connor from Primeval head onto a suited body and would rather use one which has the same Neck Joint as it were.

I want to modify my CO sonic screwdriver and move the switch round to the slider (it's always bothered me).

My problem is the "metal" ring at the top and bottom of the outercasing.
