Battles in Time Devastator Set

David J Howe has heard "on the grapevine" that there will be another set of Battles in Time cards, possibly coming out late in July, called the Devastator set. This could be as many as 250 cards, he says.

Are people ready for another set, or have they had enough?

Ok got email newsletter from a uk dealer that states july and august should be busy with the following toys:primeval series 2,doctor who series 4,classic series 1 and sarah jane adventures 2?? So anyone got any info on more sarah jane figures? email states dates for them,primeval and classics have yet to be determined? I'm wondering with chinese plant issues the classics will again be delayed?I know diamond select have pushed back their stuff a month.anyone in the know?

When The Master first appears he's on one of his last regenerations, so why not show earlier versions of The Master interacting with later versions of The Doctor in future stories? That would be a sensible way to have more of the character if they really wanted to keep him dead (not that they should, since him being able to not regenerate was one of manyridiculous plot devices in that episode).

Later, at Tonner's "Look Ahead" panel, the company sought fan input as to what sort of properties they should pursue for licenses. When someone (full disclosure: yes, it was me, but I swear I had no idea) mentioned "Doctor Who," company representative Mark Moriarty and Robert Tonner confirmed that they had just signed the license for "Doctor Who" character figures. The company will concentrate at first on the various Doctors from throughout the show's history.

Earlier tonight, I went to the supermarket to pick up powder sweetened ice tea and there were the generic brand and Lipton. There were two other brands but I forgot what they were. I decided to pick up both and see what was the difference. Looking at the ingredients, they're not really different from each except that Lipton has silicon dioxide and the generic has calcium silicate.

In the end, Lipton won my taste buds as the generic brand tasted less sweet and more watery than Lipton. I paid ...

Hey guys, I just got his set from the UK and it's a lot of fun. Since it's unlikely WhoNA will get them in, I thought I'd let you know how I got mine. Tesco's have it on sale for under �2! A kind soul on the DWF got it for me and shipped it by airmail. Total cost was only $12 with shipping! So if you have some friends and want this set (I think the communicator was on sale too) this might be the way to go.

Any news on a possible new North-American-friendly distributor for DWA/BiT?

Starting to experience periodical-withdrawal symptoms. Is there any hope? Maybe getting them through one of the big UK Who specialty shops? You don't even see them on eBay.

It's terrible timing! I would have liked to have kept going at least through the end of Series Four for DWA, and through issue 52 (possibly the final issue) of BiT.

I noticed on the BF site that the new Dark Shadows series are now also in the talking books, or "dramatic reading" format, such as Companion Chronicles and Stargate.

Does BF seem to be changing the overall format?

This format of newer efforts seems to be coming more common.

DW, the just barely renewed S&S, and Bernice Summerfield are still audio productions, but are these now the exceptions?

Ok, I could've sworn I posted something about this before, but my memory being what it is these days...well, bear with me.

Someone pointed me to a site a while back where a guy was producing some really great looking prop replicas (a working, metal FOB watch and a Sonic Screwdriver) but for the life of me, I can no longer find the site.

5" Auton Figures --> Right Hand Question

I'm a new member to this forum, so please excuse me if this has already been answered.

I recently received the Auton Twin Pack and the Grey Auton. I'm wondering what's up with the right hand? I know in the show that the fingertips flip down to expose a gun. In the action figure, there's a seam in the right hand, but it doesn't readily open to reveal a gun. I don't want to pull too hard and damage the figure.

Can someone fill me in on what's up with this? Is it just meant to create ...
