| I don't understand people. 1st, why would it be inappropriate to post pics from your album here? 2nd, why would anyone care enough to complain? They were harmless pics, and a well done head at that... If you had been offering them for sale, or had posted something lewd, I could see someone getting their nose out of joint, but this is just petty. I am sorry you won't post pics here. You do great customs. I looked at your album, and your DC work is outstanding. |

| | Why is it assumed a group of people, in this case Doctor Who fans, would all be good people? It's a generalization that no one should make. There will always be the possibility of at least one rotten apple in a crate of fresh ones. |

| Hi timlord- Regarding that email from photobucket : I think anyone who's uploaded photos recently to that site got that email today (me included).
It's my opinion that it was a poor wording on photobucket's part to remind people to use image server linking (with the i prefix). The email seemed rather accusatory.
I don't think it was a direct attack on you or something you did when posting your pictures here. Your photo links from photobucket to this forum are using the correct formatting, so keep on keeping on!
On topic: nice customs in your photobucket album! |

| My email wasn't specific, and a quick google indicated that lots of other people got the same thing and were as baffled as I was.
This is what my email said:
| Quote: | Subject: You are incorrectly linking from Photobucket
Dear meredee@ ----- .com,
It has been brought to our attention that you are incorrectly linking content from your Photobucket account around the Web. We would kindly request that you please begin making the appropriate changes to your links as quickly as possible as to avoid any future disruptions to your service. You are incorrectly linking to the Photobucket servers instead of the 'i' for some (or all) of your links off-site.
You will need to go in and manually change all of your links to reflect the 'i' instead of the Photobucket servers. Please see the examples below.
Incorrectly linked files look like this: http://photobucket.com/albums/aa123/username/filename.jpg
An example of a correctly linked file should look like this (notice the 'i'): http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/aa123/username/filename.jpg
Note: You should copy the Direct Link code from your Photobucket album in order to resolve the issue.
On March 24th, 2008 at 12pm ET, Photobucket will begin disabling all incorrect links. Please begin correcting your links as quickly as possible as to avoid any disruptions to your service. Even if your links are disabled after the March 24th deadline, as soon as you fix them, your files will display as intended again. Please feel free to contact us at mislinking@photobucket.com if you have any questions or concerns. Your promptness and assistance with this matter is greatly appreciated!
Sincerely,
Your Photobucket Support Team

In other words, link to your images in the correct way or your links won't work any more.
I guess if you got a different email, then it's a different matter and you should look into it.
Sorry to have veered off topic
