VOTE NOW for the Whofest 2009 T-Shirt Design!

The poll is now open at our website at www.2xlrobot.com/whofest where you can also view all the images in their full-size glory. Voting will close at 11:59 PM EST on November 1, 2009.

Thanks for looking and making your opinion count!

What it is: Every year, a small gathering of Doctor Who fans who are close friends get together as close to November 23rd as our schedules will allow and hold a Doctor Who marathon. We watch one story from each Doctor, all while indulging in too much pizza, Twinkies, Cherry Pepsi and Jelly Babies.

How we pick 'em: This year, for the very first time we opened up to the public and let everyone vote on which stories we watched! (The only exception being Paul McGann, since he only had one story.)

This year WhoFest will be on November 14, 2009.
The picks for 2009 are:

1st Doctor - The War Machines
2nd Doctor - The Mind Robber
3rd Doctor - The Daemons
4th Doctor - The Talons of Weng-Chiang
5th Doctor - The Caves of Androzani
6th Doctor - Attack of the Cybermen
7th Doctor - Remembrance of the Daleks
8th Doctor - An Edit Within*
9th Doctor - The Unquiet Dead
10th Doctor - Midnight

*An Edit Within is the 1996 TV Movie edited down to 30 minutes. This is by no means a diss on the 8th Doctor; it's simply done (a) to give us a little variety for Paul McGann since he only has 1 story (2 if you count Shada), and (b) a way to keep the marathon down to a mere 17 hours now that we have 10 (11!?!) Doctors to watch.

Why we do it: We're crazed fans.

Thanks! We ran an online poll on Outpost Skaro to determine which stories we watch this year.

Some of us live near Pittsburgh but we usually travel to Ohio to meet up with some friends and because he's got the biggest TV set. bounce

I'd like to see this 30 minute version of the Paul McGann film.
