Sweet, now there are at least 2 Cyberleaders in the world! I will have to make a trooper for my Cyberleader so I can catch up with you! Just now getting around to doing a Moonbase version. I have parts for a body left, mostly from a controller whose legs were de hosed for my Cyberleader. I was think of doing him into an Earthshock version, but it would mean a scratch built head and chest pack.

RonPur, you inspired me to make my Leader from my failed attempt at an Earthshock Cybe, and yours is much better than mine anyway. Something just looks off on my Leader (tho I'm happy with my CyberTrooper) - the Leader looks too thin and the black helmet looks like it isn't as wide as the Trooper's so it throws it all off. But regardless, maybe my Cybies and yours can have a Cyber get-together and discuss galactic domination, the rising price of hydraulic fluids, and the terror of gold dust attacks. LOL!!! ANyway, here's a few more of my customs: I've shown Leela and Davros before but thy have both been tweaked a bit so (hopefully) they look better than before. The 4th Doc is from "The Invisible Enemy" as I wanted a Doc figure that went along well with my cstom K9, so I took his look from K9's first episode (minus the icky eye crustiness from Contact) having been made. The Ice Warrior is new as I wanted a couple new custom monsters to display with my 1st and 2nd and 3rd Doctors whenever I get them. The picture is awful - he truly looks far better in real life (sometimes pics hide imperfections and look better than in person whilst other times the pic looks worse - and this is the case here as I'm actually very happy with how he turned out - but my heart sank when I saw the first pics! I tried several was to photograph him as he just looks like a sloppy paint drip mess, but to no avail.! I plan to do some more work on the head and hopefully will have translucent red plastic eye shields at some point instead of the chintzy painted ones I have for now. And though the camera seems to exagerate the green paint tones, I am happy as it looks in person (maybe I'm slightly color blind and just can't see it for myself until the digital photograph enhances the colors. Davros needs some paint ops like a brown wash or some such on his face to show his lined face better but I can't seem to get it right and keep painting over him. Any ideas would be most appreciated if anyone has any suggestions how to do it. I had painted his lips black as the were in "Genesis of the Daleks" but it just looked weird every way I tried it so for now he's mostly mono skin tone. :-)

Niiice Ice Warrior!!! Although I came here to get away from Ice Warriors, having just spent the last 9 hours making a 3D model of one. That is stunning! Is it possible to see a shot of its back? Your Davros is excellent as well. I've seen quite a few of him yours is the best by far. Kudos!

A bit off topic, I have two Invasion Cybermen that I dont want. To be fair, I prefer to find two that are slightly better in appearance. I am trying desperately to find just one that has a proper pair of ears! And one has a bit of a smudge on his face. If any of you customizers have a pair of Invasion cybies that have good ears and want to trade let me know. If you are going to do some 'plastic surgery' better to use these.

I think the paint is perfect, from what I can tell. Didn't you do Alpha Centari too? You need to photo them next to each other! Anyway, he looks awesome. I always liked their leader, too, with his Darth Vader like helmet.

Those are awesome Ron - I can't believe how well the Rose figure worked for the base figure for Jenny! You've inspired me - no need to wait on a Primeval Abbey at all now - tres bien!!! :-) Now K9 of course is my favorite (character and figure!) - what paint did you use on him? I have tried painting several of them and end up with ones that look like Rusty K9 (not in a good way either!) - it's such a nice job, no slop, etc - please share what paints you used and any techniques (especially for his little buttons on his back control panel!). Awesome work! :-)

Thanks Guys!! For the MK I, the paint is Testor SIlver Metallic #1246. It takes to the plastic fine, and sprays on nice and smooth. To me, it is a great match for what I see on my TV when I watch The Invisable Enemy, which is what I am after. As for his buttons, I just mask them off, too afraid to try to repaint them! (Same with his collar, ears and tail) His "K-9" is repainted white, to stand out from the bright silver. From the pictures I could find, his "bumpers" around the bottom were the same color, not dark grey like MK III. I have a straight pin that I plan on using for his antenna, too! I have to order another Rose/K9 now to get another K9 for MKII and a Rose to put a UK flag t-shirt on! Hope to get some work done on my Wheel Cyberman tonight. It doesn't show up well with my crappy camera, but I had to plump up Helen's cheeks to make her more like Jenny, and I was shocked how well it turned out. Had to increase the breast size too, whiich is not easy to do with model putty! I dread the day I do a Peri custom! Now comes the hard part, painting her eyes!

OK, now I think I have finished my Jenny. Touched up the paint, fixed her neck, gave her a belt, and scratchbuilt a gun. I kind of like her, so maybe I will get brave and try another companion either Peri or Leela. http://www.flickr.com/photos/37858031@N05/3705217893/http://www.flickr.com/photos/37858031@N05/3706025476/Next is my Wheel Cyberman. He is made from left over parts from my Revenge custom. He uses an Invasion body, with a Tomb head with new eyes and mouth. To be totally accurate, he needs an upside down chest pack from a Tomb cybie, but since I don't have an extra, this will have to do until I can mold one. http://www.flickr.com/photos/37858031@N05/3705217981/Hope you enjoy them.

And here's my latest custom, kind of random but fits with my Classic Custom urges of late! :-) Still lots of paint work to do, but he's taking shape! :-) |

Thanks for the compliments, Newton. I so love seeing your customs, and they are inspiring me to do more figures. And the fact that there are no new figures coming this year, and we know none of these will ever be made by CO. I had been thinking of using a 6th Doctor and turning him into Maxil, but I am just not brave enough to destroy a Classic Doctor figure. I may have to did out my molding making resin and make a spare head for one.

Those are simply awesome Ron!!!! I wish I could get my Wheel Cybie to look that good - what did you used for the wires and boxes that the wires thread into? Excellent excellent!!! Here's my completed (more or less) Gallifreyen Guard and Ice Warrior. I decided to repaint the Ice Warrior as the metallic green just looked way too B-movie sci fi-ish. His Monster of Peladon Sonic disruptor is removable so he can look like the other Icies with just their wrist mounted disruptors. ANd my Gallifreyen Guard still needs some paint details but I need finer brushes and/or paint pens to do it, so for now his white piping is minus the red and black stripes in the center of each. :-) Not sure you can see it but his staser is see-thru on the top part as it's made from plastic and sculpey and wire. His cape is also removable for the all action scenes when he actually has to chase down something. I started to make a faux "4th Doctor Boxset" for the Invasion of Time with my Leela, 4t Doc alt outfit, K9, Time Lord, Guard and Sontaran. But Leela's outfit is the darker one, the 4th Dc' coat is the wrong one for IOT, and so forth. Still, I may make a De-Mat Gun as it would just look cool! :-)

Thanks, again! Bands are made of real thin plastic, the joint boxes are bigger chunks of plastic, and the tubing is just two of the strands of wire from the same ribbon cable scrap I used for the Cyberleader. I think the plastic is from Evergreen Sheet plastic. I could have used the thin plastic tube they sell too, but I had the wire on hand. I plan on building a classic TARDIS from the Evergreen plastic next week. Now my question, what temp do you bake your sculpty when it is on a figure? I am afraid of melting a plastic figure.... PS: Same response at GB Forum too!

Cool, thanks for the info! I ruined my last attempt at a Wheel Cybie (which is what became my Gallifreyen Guard, so serendipity and all!), so hoping this comes out better! :-) And on the topic of ruining figures, I don't bake mine any higher then 200 degrees Farenheit (our Brit friends probably cringed when they saw "200" since they use Celsius!). And even that temp you have to be careful for some things will still shrivel and shrink (like the soft pliable plastic/rubber that the jackets are made out of on the suited Doc, Rose 2's shirt, etc) and some rigid plastic like the Cyber chest plates, parts of Davros, etc will actually shrivel up into unusable lumps even at 200 degrees. So I always take off rubbery coats and what not, and never bake a Cybie with his Chest Plate on! :-)

ANd of course another custom: Another Classic Custom from me, this time Omega from Arc of Infinity. I want to make a few villains for every Doctor, and I've always loved the design of this Omega look. IHe needs some paint touch ups, but otherwise I think he's pretty much done! I started out making a Sharaz Jek but ended up using that head for my Ice Warrior. Anyway, enjoy and any critiques/suggestions for improving it always welcomed (in fact, invited!). :-) My Ice Warrior is here again because one of my cats knockd him off my shelves and I stil haven't found the original head! It did give me the idea to do swappable heads tho - the type seen here and the Big Headed-warrior that looks oh so strange. I'll post when I've made the Big Head version! Meeting Petie D! Group shot! All in all I'm happy with him but I can't seem to get the color right. The yellowish design swirls on his Cloak and head side ball things look wrong. Maybe should be more beige? Or off white? I can't tell and it's bugging me! So any ideas are very welcome!!! :-)

Wow, you, my friend, are amazing. I was preparing to do a Three Doctors Omega, much simpler to do than yours, to prepare for Doctors 1 and 2(and maybe 3s) hopeful arrival! But I just can't imagine how he could compare to yours. I will give it a shot, and see. I like the idea of doing a bad guy for each Doctor, but for some reason, all the ones I want to do, come from Doc 3's time, go figure. Unless it is a Cyberman, of course! And RDKS, I love your avatar! 3+10= A WINNER!
