We are attempting to get the others. The source in the UK only had this one at the moment, so they are looking into the availability of the other items in the range.

It may be a couple of weeks before we hear anything more.

We had to pay a lot more for them, unfortunately.

Likelihood is we will just stop with this one. It was more to import than we expected and we don't think we can justify the price of these items.

So, unless Underground changes their mind, we'll skip these.

Hmmm. Maybe it's all to do with the paint job, but my Sarah Jane looks spectacular. I didn't get her from WhoNa though. Sorry WhoNA, but I did buy a Sycorax Warrior from you guys. Smile I think CO did a terrific job on the one I have and I'm very happy with her. I think she's better than the ones that have come out based on the Sarah Jane Adventures.

Oh well. To each their own.

Sure, but add the cost of a plane ticket (~$1,000.00 CDN when I went a month ago) and the two-pound ninety-nine gains a little perspective.

Besides, is it just me, or is the whole "buy-another-Sarah-Jane-just-to-get-the-alien-of-the-week" concept a bit much? I brought a few of the sets back for a friend, and now he's got more Sarah Jane-Smith than he knows what to do with.

Scary thought, no matter which way you look at it...=)

SJA stuff aside (personally, I think the show's a trainwreck, but that's my opinion) those figure prices are roughly what they'd be after exchange of dollar-versus-pound right now. Kinda curious who this retailer is that only charges $40 USD shipping for as many figures as you want- that's an impressive figure if A) it's from the UK, and B) you buy in any sort of quantity, ESPECIALLY if that's from the UK.

Might be a useful alternate (though Whona stays my primary, which is easy given my lack-of-interest for all things SJA..=) for some of that harder-to-find stuff that we can't normally have shipped to or find in the barren wastes up here in Canada...

Don't think is $40 for all the figures you want, It seams to be $40 for shipping for as many figure you order. Thats just how I read it.

Get them before they disappear.

WHAT! I'll have to wait for my other source to get it some time in the summer then (as they said they would). I should get it for their original price as well, but I would have paid this higher price to get it today.

We had 18 cases come in, therefore 18 Sarah Jane.

Remember, these were on alocation; we never got our full order, nor did anyone else. This case assortment is DONE, no more from Character Options. However, as we already mentioned, the Sarah Jane figure will be in a future assortment, so no worries. NOTHING ELSE NEW CAME IN YET.

WhoBlackpool was taken over by someone else. Up until about two months ago, their international shipping price was ₤9.95. Now it's ₤19.95. From what I've read, the previous owners had major problems and the company went into liquidation.
I ordered two 12" Assault Daleks from them, which I will never see, nor will I ever get my money back. Evil or Very Mad Dalek

Thats suspicious!after i read that i looked into and many people complained!its even more evil when they rip off many then say their a new company therefore not responsible.you can contact online fraud reports and they keep record!most people dont bother!i ordered from forbidden planet, gave credit card and didnt hear back for 8 weeks what the shipping would be.i had to call uk then and only then did they say outrageous shipping but to add 33%of order as a handling fee simply cuz im in usa!

Sycorax were three to a case, yes.

I believe that we are expecting the FOB watch to arrive sometime next week, along with SCREAMING angels.

That is interesting to hear about WhoBlackPool. I haven't made a huge issue of this because I don't like to badmouth anyone, but I had ordered a Sarah Jane and K9 from WHoBlackpool in January when they were the only place that (supposedly)had them in stock (and yes, even then it was a flat $20 shipping to the US for ONE figure...but being a WHo freak, and a single guy with disposable income, I thought why not? :-)

First off, My order said "Pending" for two days so I emailed them, they said it was just the way the web store worked and it had indeed shipped. A week after that and I hadn't got it - again, was told it had shipped and should have it any day. This went on for LITERALLY 2 months - I even copied all the previous promises of it shipping on each email and they would say something like "That was bad/wrong/mistaken info from the shipper/stock room/gardener, and it really did ship this time" BS.

By the middle of March I demanded a refund - and the same thing happened with that (i.e. you'll get in within 5 days - Whatever!)! The lady that answered every email was offended on my next message when I said I was obviously being given the run around. Now - I am a nice guy, in fact my friends tell me I'm usually too nice and get taken advantage of becaue of this a lot of times - I say this so you'll know that my idea of a "mean" email is still most people's idea of a regular email! LOL! Finally I told her that whether she was the one doing it or just someone also being lied to, that someone was obviously not doing their job, outright lying, or both and that if I didn't have the refund in my account within 72 hours that I'd contact Dave (the then Owner) via The DrWho Forum (where I have chatted with him a few times previously) as I doubted he'd be happy at how his business was being conducted.

Again I got the promise that I'd get it - and I didn't even bother waiting the full 72 hours as I knew by then that nothing would happen. So I IM'd Dave, cpied in all my preious email and repLIES <grin> and had my refund within a couple days. He was nice and apologized but still made it sound like it was a manufacturer shipping mishap - when from the get-go it was supposed to be an in stock item. I still don't know if he maybe misunderstood the situation and maybe didn't read my admittedly lengthy novel of evidence, but I got my money back - finally - and in the end I got a MUCH better deal on my so long desired Sarah Jane a K9! :-)

If they'd just said "we sold out and that was a mistake that your order processed" I'd have been fine with it. But after the first couple (obvious) BS-filled emails of empty promises, I should have contacted Dave then instead of that less than honest and/or totally clueless customer support woman.

ANyway, sorry, just had to vent when I saw that - one of the reasons I didn't get firm sooner or post about this all over the place was because I had chatted with Dave before and he seemed like a good guy (and probably is - I have no idea what happened behind the scenes that led to a new owner) and didn't want to do anything to potentially hurt his business. Had I known so many others had issues, I wouldn't have ordered from them in the first place.

Makes you appreciate WhoNA that much more! I can honestly say I have had nothing but the absolute best, friendliest and fast service of any eTailer ever! I love you WhoNA!!! :-) :-) :-)
