Why do I get the feeling that the SDCC exclusives number over 3000?

I would love to see the tweaked figures made available to us, it seems like we do get them eventually, but we cant be certain of what is going to show up anymore.

Something the US retailers could look into is seeing if they can get a supply of 5"scale sonic screwdrivers to sell indivudually for those of us that want our Doctors to have them.

CO does this in the UK but only for UK customers.

You took the words right out of my mouth. It seems like I've seen a million of the things.

It's nice to see that we're finally getting the regular Assault Dalek. Hopefully the Series 3 Novice Hame won't be far behind.

Back on the subject of the SJS/K-9 two pack...Just out of curiosity, how much was WHONA selling it for? I see it on "Other" sites going for like $25! Is this a "normal" price, or is it totally out of control. I saw it on Ebay for $30, but we alll know the deal with ebay...

tell me about it. i pulled in some favors for these and they have been easier to get than most figures. to tell you the truth i was about to give up on co til i saw the "classic" line. by the way way does it have to be a different series?

There were only 3000 of the SDCC exclusives, but Underground never unloaded them all. We're lucky to sell 300 of an average figure, although some of the more common ones have sold in excess of 600 (like the 10th Dr. in Trenchcoat).

I really don't understand why they haven't imported the Gridlock Hame yet. Apparently they're pegwarming the UK, so why doesn't CO export some?

And I now have all of my figures! What quick delivery!

I kinda went WhoNA mad here for a bit a bought Hame, the Editor, a Sycorax warrior, the Doctor with his ghost gear, and Sarah Jane (!).

While I was at it, I bought the new DVDs, Time Warrior and Timelash (better prices ad faster delivery than Amazon).

I'm always pleased with the service I receive from WhoNa, and while I know this should go in the customer service thread, I just had to give some praise.

Well done, Keith and Jany!

Sorry if this has been asked before, but are you getting in either the Sarah Jane Adventures figures or the 'tweaked' Who wave?

Thanks!

Tweaked wave has not been solicited.

We are working on the SJS figures.

on the subject of questions, and i know this may be a ways off, but if, and when, the torchwood figures come out(and yes i know they're not being done by co), do you think there's any chance you'll get those in. from what i've read, there will be jack, weevil, cyberwoman, gwen, and owen.

It was announced that Underground Toys hold the license for distribution of Torchwood to us and will come this Summer.

Peng made a thread about it too; click here

Okay, we have imported the Sarah Jane and Star Poet figure. Those are now up for sale.

Please note, they are more expensive. Sorry.

Importing from the UK is an absolute killer. They are a bit bulky, and the cases are large, so it gets hit with dimensional freight. Plus there are only 6 per case.

The series 1&2 wave is very good, althought I am disappointed in the Top Trumps card - there is only one (Dalek Sec) and the back doesn't match the others. It's essentially an ad/insert. Also, if it matters to anyone, not all the figures have one inside. My "Ghostbuster Doctor" did not have one, and one of my Sycorax Warriors did and the other didn't, (doesn't matter to me!).

The figures in order of best to worst IMHO are:

Sycorax Warrior
Doctor w/ gear
Novice Hame
Editor
Sarah Jane

The human figures suffer mostly from bad paint jobs. The Editor has ruby red lips and too healthy a complexion. The SJS's neck doesn't match her face (not even close) and she just looks funky.

The Sycorax, (how did they put it), rocks! They're just sooo nice and well done, I got three!

The Doc's gear is what makes him cool AND he has rubber hands, not plastic!

Novice Hame is just the standard well done figure, and a very welcome addition.

I hear ya on that one. The SJS in that set though is VERY nice - beats the pants off the one with K9.

It's nice, and the star poet is pretty amazing when lit up from the stand. It's the first figure in a long time that we all said, "Whoa..."

And the Cyberman bubble bath is amazing too....it REALLY surprised me!

Thanks for getting this item in. As a long time buyer of Who items from the UK...it's the best of times...it's the worst of items...with the worst of times being the weak dollar combined with the hideous fuel prices driving up the cost of everything including shipping/transportaion...so I think we all understand.

That being said I was a bit surprised at the cost...I wouldn't have minded if the figure didn't light up, and perhaps smaller packaging would have helped lower costs.

Do you have any idea when the other Sarah Jane figures will arrive?? ....it would be nice to order along with other figures from the series to save on shipping!

Thanks guys. Smile
