You forgot the others who have passed away. Jacqueline Hill, Michael Craze and Adrienne Hill. I'd much rather have a Barbara Wright and Ben Jackson figure over a Harry Sullivan.

Also Deborah Watling as Victoria would make a good figure in her Victorian gown.

I had not realised Jacqueline Hill, Michael Craze and Adrienne Hill had passed on. Still I'm not being a completist- but realist in the suggestions for companion figures. Also don't take offense to my suggestions. I'm sure they could and would do a Barbara Wright figure as the character was there at the start of the show. It wouldn't do to have the 1st Doctor, Ian, Susan and no Barbara. But would CO make a Ben, Polly, Victoria, Katarina or Liz Shaw figures? It would be nice, of course but seems unlikely.

Harry Sullivan is a far more recognizable character and fits in if they ever started releasing UNIT characters. Would they release Paul Darrow as Captain Hawkins from Doctor Who-unlikely? I'm not listing my favorites-just the actors who are more recognized for the roles they played in DW.

They could do a "First Adventure" four pack and have the First Doctor and Susan with Barbara and Ian.

The background could be the Tardis interior and it could include the Eagle lectern. That way if they make classic control room playsets to go with each era this would be a good accessory to go with it.

Just another crazy idea of mine. geek

When is Wave 1 expected to be in stock here?

I sure hope they've ordered enough!

There is no set date, as the figure have yet to be solicited. They are expected for release in the UK in August.

The 10th Planet Cyberman is part of the Second Wave of Classic figures...there have been pictures released as yet for this wave.

The Special Weapons Dalek is a rumored figure only. There has been some discussion that CO may not have the rights yet to produce that figure. The closest we've come to these figures was a segment on CO that the BBC ran a number of months ago...I seem to remember in the background there was a glimpse of the sculpt for the Cyberman.

On a separate note, CO recently mentioned that the sculpts are now complete for the remaining Classic Doctors; Hartnell, Troughton, Pertwee, McCoy, and McGann...pretty exciting!

So we are getting the rest of the Doctors? For sure? I thought that there were hang-ups with getting the licensing rights for Docs 1-3.

There are no reported "hang-ups" regarding licensing; this is not to say that all legal issues have been completed. It's typical for a manufacturer to complete any number of prototypes for a figure, before any legal matters are complete. It is CO's intention to release all 8 of the Classic Doctors, and they are moving forward with that plan.

I would love to visit their marketing department, as they now have all 10 of the Doctors lined up in a row for the first time!

Thanks for posting Newton! I was trying to find that to post here but couldn't. I kow the Special Weapons Dalek was just on-loan but I do really hope they do it soon. I'm looking forward to the Cyberman for sure.

There has been no official release date set. Some of us have been hoping we might see something by Christsmas time, but that may not happen.

The first wave is just barely starting to arrive to retailers, so although it may not seem like it, we're pretty early into the game.

Why isn't the McCoy figure not going to have his hat? He better have two heads ...

I think The Brigadier is a must as well as Sara Jane. A Master figure would also be on the top of my list too.

That would be a a great option. I would prefer this to one without a hat I like him in his hat.

Yeah, no second head for McCoy. On the bright side, if the line is successful maybe we'll get it in a variant figure down the line? I agree he REALLY needs to come with his umbrella. Certainly over some sort of sonic screwdriver device that they've given to the other Doctors. Did McCoy ever use the sonic even?

McCoy without his hat is like Tennant without without his trainers (see avatar <-----). McCoy's umbrella WAS his sonic. He always found a clever way to use it to solve a problem.

If they're not doing a second head (which they should), they should at least give him a hat to hold in his hand (he used to salute people by raising his hat). I hope the variant is his original brighter costume (again, see avatar <------).

Can you tell I'm a McCoy fan????

Yes. McCoy used it once to seal the lock containing the Master's remains in The Enemy Within aka The TV Movie. This was the first time we saw it since the previous version was destroyed in the 5th Doctor's story The Visitation.

So basically, all except the 1st, and 6th Doctor's have used a version of the Sonic Screwdriver, and could have one released with their figure.

this is a must, so I hope they do it.

I agree that Mccoy would be much better with his hat, maybe they could fine a way to actually make it removable and not two heads.

Anyway the only time we saw McCoy with a sonic was in the TVM. Big Finish let him have one in his traveling solo years, so I'd be fine with him having a sonic, but not at the price of losing the umbrella and hat.

Don't forget the 6th's Sonic lance, does that not mean he had some kind of sonic?
