| Not sure if anyone else is enjoying these. I picked up a DVD set from WhoNA and just loved the series - very Who-ish and creepy in some ways, and very innovative. I hear the serie's creator, PJ Hammond, is writing some of the Torchwood shows, and there is talk of a new series of S&S being considered.
Big Finish's audio series is also quite a treat, as they can go beyond the limitations of the TV set, as well as include horror they can't show on TV. WhoNA has been getting them in and some of them are terrific! "The Surest Poison" is my fav so far.

| I have not picked up the DVDs yet, other things higher on the list.
I just picked up two releases, number 4 and 5 of the second audio series out of BF. Started listening to number 4 and then it appears to be talking about events from the previous story, so I stopped.
Can these be listened out of order? |

| The S&S cds can be listened to pretty much out of order, and 2.5 "Perfect Day" is a terrific story. While the stories might mention Gold or Silver from another story, the stories themselves are stand alone sort of things.
In addition to "Surest Poison" and "Perfect Day" I'd recommend "Daisy Chain," which is chilling and downright horrifying. The ending of that one is what sparked all the controversy. Scary stuff.
The DVD shows are older (similar in look to Doctor Who season 17 or Blakes 7), but well done and weird as heck - fun stuff if you don't dissect it too much and just go with it. |

| Finally picked up all of season two in the used market and will now start listening to them when I conclude the Audio Visuals (pre BF) I finally managed to get my hands on.
Just read on the BF site a shortened four story season three is planned for next year. |

| Hey there! Yeah, looks like BF is doing a shorter season next year, but I'll take what I can get.
Just finished "Cruel Immortality," which was another excellent story that actually put our lead characters in jeopardy. Steel arrives at a retirement home trapped in 1945 looking for Sapphire ... only to discover that he and she are becoming human and therefore vulnerable to aging and death! There's also mention of a War of some kind between the elements and Time itself. Nice stuff! |

| I just finished "The School". Another strange and interesting story. |
