Hello! I was inspired by Colin Brockhurst's Alternate covers on the Doctor Who Forums, and being
a designer myself, I wanted to try my hand at creating some custom
covers. I am in marketing and advertising for a living, and sadly, I
don't get to use my talents for fun too often! Granted, I enjoy my
work, but I don't ever get to make Doctor Who art!

So since I've started listening to the Big Finish series, and a lot of
the art is small and outdated, I decided I'd do some of my own covers
for fun!

My first attempt is the Sixth Doctor story "The Apocalypse Element". I
referenced the characters on the original cover for influence, but
added a modern twist, along with some of my own style.

Wow! Brilliant! I've seen lost of custom Big Finish Cover Art, this is the best by far! It looks like a an exciting story!

I do these too, it's nice to see that i am not alone. Have you come up with a good one for cuddlesome yet? I'm not having luck on my end, but I am not giving up!

When I get home I'll post a few of mine if you like.

Excellent! This cover has been approved by the Cult of Skaro!

My opinion you should make another Dalek or Davros cover! Terror Firma, Davros, The Juggernauts, Time of the Daleks, etc.

Nice Update to Davros. I am not an audio afficianado, but these are nice.

I just wish that Emerald had completed the DVD alternates, I soooo wanted to put them all in slim line cases.

Wow, these are really impressive covers! Well done! I actually like the original "Davros" cover, but your Apocalypse Element is truly stunning!

You've probably already considered this, but just a thought - You might consider photoshopping Colin's coat to be "Blue" like the one mentioned in a couple of audio stories?

By the way, where are you getting the great pics of Colin Baker for your work? Most Dr. Who pics I've found online are pretty dodgy quality.
