I just had to tell someone who would understand...

Just picked up 30+ Target novels off craigslist for $1 each.

Not sure if I'll read them and sell them or start collecting (probably the latter). I know there is at least one dupe so I'll probably take some photos and post them in the trade section.

I just bought 80 books off craigslist for $80. Included in this box was "LUNGBARROW" and "DYING DAYS", as well as a bunch of other sweet titles. Now, already having a complete set of books....what am I going to do with 80 books? Hmmm...

how is Lungbarrow? never had a chance to read it when it first came out, and it is way too expensive anymore to buy.

You probably already know about it, but the Beeb's Doctor Who site has a section with e-books, including Lungbarrow. If you don't mind not having the actual book, I think it's a fair substitute. Don't get me wrong - I love the books, I'd just rather spend my limited $ on new figures. Smile

I have been looking for some target books to finish off my collection, mostly the earlier editions of pertwee and a couple of Bakers. I love the artwork on the covers.

There is a new book coming out called "The Target Book" which will chronicle the Target Doctor Who book line and include the covers of all the Target DW books, including (I think) variants and different sketches.

I have been waiting for that with baited breath. Before we saw the old stories the books provided a key to the past. Although the budget in my head was far more than the beebs!
